Rent Our Space
Our building on Sydney Street provides a sacred setting without religious imagery. All rooms and areas for rent are fully accessible to the physically challenged. Our smaller rooms can be used for group or club gatherings and our sanctuary is perfect for weddings.
Rooms can be rented by the hour (two-hour minimum). We do not allow events with games of chance. For events with alcohol, renters must get a Special Occasion Permit and must adhere to all Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario requirements, including that any server must have current Smart Serve® Ontario certification. All events require a renter’s certificate of insurance. See the Sample Rental Agreement for detailed policies and requirements.
We have projector screens available, but renters should plan to bring their own projection equipment. Both floors are wheelchair accessible and have accessible washrooms.

64’ x 52’ (hall); 13’ x 52’ (platform). Seating for approximately 250 people. $50/hour (2 hour min.)
This is a beautiful, open space with high ceilings and pew seating. It is ideal for recitals, concerts, lectures, workshops, weddings, auditions, etc. You are welcome to “bring your own officiant.” (If you are looking for a liberal spiritual officiant to lead a ceremony here or elsewhere, see the page for our lay chaplain.)
This hall has exceptional modern acoustics. Our Baldwin Concert Grand piano complements this space. (Please discuss your piano and sound system needs when booking the space.)
47’ x 43’. Comfortably seats 100 people lecture-style or 85 for a meal. $20/hour (2 hour min.)
Our second largest space has a bright and cheery ambiance with its natural lighting. It has a sound system, a pull-down screen, and adjoins the kitchen (see below). This popular rental space is multifunctional, with modular tables and chairs that you can arrange to suit your purpose. It can be reached via the stairwell or elevator from the upstairs lobby or directly from the parking lot, and there are wheelchair accessible washrooms.
Kitchen for Meal Service
$25/hour (2 hour min.) Meal preparation must occur off the premises but can be served from our kitchen. Cost includes use of plates, cups, cutlery, coffee urns and use of the commercial dishwasher.
Lower Level Meeting Rooms
$10/hour (2 hour min.) Modular, easily arranged tables and chairs are available for our classrooms so you can set them up to suit your purposes. The Multi Room is our largest classroom, at 15 1/2’ x 22 3/4’, and seats approximately 20. The Window Room is 14’ x 13 1/2’ and the Corner Room is 11 1/4’ x 17 1/2’. Our Lounge is a comfortable space with a sectional sofa and other seating, including a bean bag! At the other end of Whitton Hall is the playroom or nursery (19’ x13 1/2’) which can accommodate quiet groups as well as children. It has its own washroom with a child-size toilet and changing facilities.
